Diving Alor

Alor is an hidden paradise for marine biodiversity, with exceptional coral reefs, unique anemones gardens and remarkable muck-diving spots. The variety of underwater geography is wide: some outstanding walls, rock slides, valleys, seamounts, pinnacles, bay… Surrounded by clear water, the visibility can reach more than 40 meters, with an average temperature of 28°C (with peaks down to 25°… 20° in specific spots and conditions).

If a few dive sites are renown for big fish (big eyes jack, dog tooth tunas, giant groupers, Napoleon wrasse, eagle rays or occasional hammerheads and mola-mola …), the real richness of Alor is the amazing biodiversity, including fish, invertebrates, anemonas, hard/soft corals, and the variety of critters, which make it famous for « macro » lovers.

The Dive sites are reachable in 2 to 40 minutes from Kepa.  We organize minimum 2 dives per day but a 3d dive (afternoon or night) can be arranged as well depending on current conditions and participants.  In addition, shore dives are also possible for qualified divers at tank cost only (5€ ). The dive sites are chosen according to our … 19 years experience (already?!) of the area, to offer you the best conditions to see objects in a safe way. Drift and static dives are possible. Our capacity is from 10 to 12 divers (depending on the month), so Cedric and his team, 2 to 4 dive instructors/guides, will accompany you in small groups (3-4 divers/guide) to show you the jewels of Alor marine life!
